At Your Print Partner we are delighted to be able to announce that we have been nominated at the Digital Printer Awards 2017.
YPP has been nominated in the Wide and Super Wide Format category, which recognises the very best work in producing POS, graphics, posters, flags, banners, packaging, building wraps, vehicle livery and industrial decoration.
This year we have taken on a huge range of different projects and worked with so many brilliant clients, so choosing just one project to enter into the awards was particularly difficult.
After much deliberation, we put forward our work for the 2017 Brighton Marathon Weekend.
The Brighton Marathon Weekend is an exciting three-day running event in one of Britain’s most cosmopolitan cities, and YPP was given task of providing the course branding and soft signage for the event.
Over several months, the team set to work designing, printing and finishing a huge range of items, including flags, banners, foamex boards and even pop-up booths made from our new Stretch fabric.
The sheer volume of print required in this project would provide a challenge, but thanks to recent investments in new machinery and our new manufacturing hub, we have hugely increased our production capacity and we are in a strong position to take on orders of all different sizes.
Another key challenge was ensuring that the Brighton brand and colour palette was consistent across all the different substrates. Six different substrates were used in total in delivering this project, so the YPP team spent time testing colour profiles and creating sample swatches to make sure they had an accurate match.
"We really enjoyed working with the Brighton Marathon team this year on what was a hugely successful event" said Managing Director Stuart Maclaren.
"To be nominated at the industry's leading digital printing awards is a real honour, and is testament to our print quality and the dedication and skill of the team".
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony at the Marriott London in Grosvenor Square on Thursday 9th November. Fingers crossed!20/09/2017 09:47
