Future Stars of Print Wanted at YPP

The UK’s fastest growing large format print company is seeking two enthusiastic and highly motivated Apprentice Digital Printers to join its busy production team.

YPP offers its clients the complete end-to-end design and printing service for all their printed materials – from concept creation and graphic design through to printing, finishing and delivery.

The company’s extensive product range includes everything from business cards and stationery to flags, banners and exhibition displays.

The chosen apprentices will be responsible for contributing to the efficient running of our print department, working alongside experienced staff and helping put design work into print. As well as operating some of our state-of-the-art print machines, other responsibilities will include loading material, machinery maintenance and assisting in quality control systems.

The apprenticeships are being processed by British Printing Industries Federation, with more information and a link to apply available to view online here:

“Success in business means providing quality work and great customer service at a good price” said YPP Managing Director Stuart Maclaren. “It means keeping up with technology and staying ahead of the competition. To do that, you need skilled staff who are full of ideas, know the job and understand business priorities. We are looking for apprentices that are full of enthusiasm and interested in the print industry, and in return we can offer them practical training and the skills and knowledge they will require for a long and fulfilling career”.

YPP Achieves ISO 9001:2015 Certification

Your Print Partner can proudly announce that it has achieved certification to the internationally recognised ISO 9001:2015 standard, establishing it as one of the leaders in its field.

This independent assessment was conducted by the British Assessment Bureau, a leading Certification Body, and demonstrates YPP’s commitment to customer service and quality in delivery.

The company has now earned the right to display the coveted British Assessment Bureau quality shield and ISO 9001:2015 logo to demonstrate its conformance to the standard.

ISO 9001 was first introduced in 1987 and requires organisations to demonstrate that they do what they say they do, and that they have a Quality Management System in place to ensure consistency and improvement; leading to high levels of performance and customer satisfaction. Certified organisations are committed to continuous improvement and are assessed to ensure progress is being maintained.

“YPP has grown significantly since its formation in 2011, and that growth would simply not have been possible without a strong commitment to quality” said Managing Director Stuart Maclaren.

“We’ve worked continuously at improving our management practices and quality control procedures since the very beginning, and that work will continue on now that we’ve achieved ISO 9001:2015 status.

“Not many customers get to see their suppliers’ ‘back office’ activities. This recognition demonstrates we can provide a high quality solution from quotation to delivery”.

Finalists in the First Made in Lincolnshire Awards

We are very proud to be able to announce that Your Print Partner was a finalist in the very first Made in Lincolnshire awards.

This brand new event, hosted by Streets Chartered Accountants, and supported by Business Lincolnshire and Natwest Bank, was established to celebrate the diversity and creativity of those manufacturing in Lincolnshire.

The shortlist and category winners were officially announced at the Made in Lincolnshire afternoon reception which took place on Thursday 16th June 2016 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Lincoln.

YPP was chosen from a long list of entrants as a finalist for the ‘Made in Lincolnshire – Sold Nationwide’ category.

“It was great for our business to be there amongst such an innovative and ambitious group of manufacturers” said Managing Director Stuart Maclaren. “It’s a true testament to the hard work and skill of our in-house production team”.

Councillor Colin Davie, Executive Councillor for Development at Lincolnshire County Council, said: “We know Lincolnshire businesses make world-class products, and that’s a message we want to spread far and wide. These awards are a chance to shout about some of the great work taking place right on our doorstep, showcasing the best of the best.”
